Trump’s Fear Mongering!

The last night of the Republican Convention, in using the White House, was the greatest display of self serving propaganda in American history. To call it merely a display of bad taste is insufficient. It showed a total disregard for traditions and broke all ethical boundaries. I falsely believed that maybe we would hear words of unity and hope coming from the President but his re-election strategy is firmly based on fear mongering and deception. Trump showed no emotion and initially delivered many disproven claims of his accomplishments. But then the his rhetoric took an extremely dark turn. For a President to say in his acceptance speech that the election of his opponent would mean an immediate end of our Republic is grotesque. Trump comes right out and threatens us that it would result in anarchy and loss of our way of life. I describe that as a fear tactic to scare and intimate the voters. I believe that Trump is power hungry and his vision for a potential second term is to have unaccountable presidential power. We can’t let that happen if we care for the USA!
